Choose From the Following Massage Modalities

Swedish Massage

One of the most well-known and widely practiced massage techniques. This classic European technique provides relaxation, enhances muscle tone, increases, cell nutrition, lowers blood pressure, improves circulation.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep and focused pressure to realign underlying musculature and connective tissue in order to relieve tension and pain and increase mobility.

Manual Lymph Drainage

A unique, gentle massage technique that stimulates the immune and parasympathetic nervous system to encourage the natural movement of lymph fluid. It is used to detoxify and drain excess fluid from the body, aiding to improve the functioning of the lymphatic (immune) system. This massage is most commonly used to treat edema and lymphedema, which is the blockage of lymph nodes and has been proven to reduce swelling caused by surgery, auto immune diseases, cancer treatments and toxin buildup.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial release addresses restrictions in the connective tissue. Rather than massaging into the muscles, your massage therapist will use slow, steady pressure along with sustained stretching, which will gently soften the fascia over and through the muscles, allowing the tension throughout them to be more effectively released.

Trigger Point Therapy

This therapy applies direct pressure to specific hyper-irritable points located within taut bands of muscle tissue or fascia to increase blood flow and release the trigger point. This decreases local and referred pain, improves mobility, and helps prevent further trigger points from developing.

Hot Stone Massage

The addition of hot stones to a massage brings the healing comfort of warmth, helping to relieve pain, muscle spasms and tension. Painful muscles and joints benefit from the soothing heat during a massage.

Prenatal Massage

Moms-to-be need extra TLC. Pregnancy massage focuses on increasing circulation of the extremities and helps to relax and soothe both mom and baby. It aides with headaches, back pain and other pregnancy related discomfort.

Integrated Signature Massage

A mixture of Swedish, Hot Stone, Deep Tissue, Lymph Drainage, Stretching, Reflexology, and Acupressure corresponding to area focus.

Facial and Scalp Massage

Increases facial tissue circulation resulting in brighter, more youthful looking skin. It helps to lift and firm the skin, reducing the appearance of puffiness and wrinkles while it reduces stress, leaving you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. It is also beneficial for sinus clearing.

Pre- and Post-Surgical Care

We encourage clients to call us before surgery to schedule post-op appointments in our Bayside, Queens office. Post-surgical massage is appropriate to begin usually 3 to 5 days after surgery, based upon your medical professional’s direction.

Many surgeons recommend manual lymphatic drainage before surgery to relieve swelling caused by auto immune diseases, cancer treatments and toxin buildup. Following surgery, manual lymphatic drainage can help relieve edema and lymphedema, and reduce swelling caused by surgery.
